Blacksburg has a bus service (however, limited in summer) and is mostly walkable. From Christiansburg or Radford, a car is needed. We don't recommend staying in other nearby cities such as Roanoke for safety reasons and/or due to long commutes. Christiansburg is a ~15-minute drive from Blacksburg and Radford is ~25 minutes. Local people may be able to carpool some participants staying outside of Blacksburg (please contact us).

Please contact the organizers if you need help booking your room, further recommendations, or if you would like to share a room with another participant or be matched with one if you are traveling solo in order to share the cost.
