Description
The Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) experiment at CERN's Large Hadron Collider (LHC) has been collecting and analyzing proton-proton collisions at 7 TeV. CMS has collected more than 2 fb^-1 of collision data, including smaller samples at lower energies of 0.9 TeV and 2.36 TeV. These samples allow precision measurements of Standard Model processes and probing for new physics. The results presented will show good detector performance as well as some of the recent physics results from CMS.
