 l conference series formerly initially established as "Hot Carriers in Sem
 iconductors"\, first held in 1973 in Modena\, Italy\, and since 2009 runni
 ng under the name EDISON. The meeting has been held on a biennial basis\, 
 cycling sequentially between Europe\, the US and Japan. Prior meetings wer
